3.2 Attachment according to
IEC60534-6
Required mounting parts are listed in Ta-
ble5.Theratedtravelofthevalvedeter-
mines which lever and range spring (Ta-
ble6)arerequired.
An adapter housing is used for attachment
(Fig.6).Thevalvetravelistransmittedbythe
lever(18)andtheshaft(25)tothebracket
(28) of the adapter housing and then passed
ontothepin(27a)ontheleveroftheposi-
tioner.Toensurethatthepin(27a)isproper-
lylocatedinthebracket(28),xthespring
included in the accessories at the back of the
positionerhousingasillustratedinFig.4.

The positioner can be mounted either on the
leftorrightsideofthecontrolvalve(Fig.5
andFig.6).Turnthepositionerattheadapt-
erhousingby180°todetermineorchange
the operating direction of the positioner/
control valve unit.
