Insulating the interior of the outdoor unit pipe
• Insulate the whole service valve of the outdoor unit with a pipe insulation.
• Seal the gap between the outdoor unit pipe and the insulation.
Rainwater and dewdrops may soak through the gap between the pipe and the insulation
of the outdoor unit installed on the outside.
• Separate the cover of the pipe and close it after insulation work.
Remove a knock-out hole cover that installed the pipe and use it.
If the extra knock-out hole is open, small animals such as squirrels and rats may get into
the unit through the hole and the unit may be damaged.
