4. Radio waves emitted by a Bluetooth device
may aect electronic medical equipment.
Turn o the terminal and other Bluetooth
devices in a train, aircraft or hospital,
near an automatic door or re alarm, and
at a place where ammable gases are
generated such as a gas station.
The terminal's Bluetooth function and wireless
LAN devices use the same frequency band
(2.4 GHz). If you use the terminal near a
wireless LAN device, reception interference
may occur or the communications speed may
lower. Also, you may hear noise or have a
connection problem. In these cases, do the
following:
1. Keep the Bluetooth device over 20 m away
from a wireless LAN device.
2. Within 20 m, turn o either the Bluetooth
device or the wireless LAN device.
Pass code is an authentication code to
enter when accessing Bluetooth devices for
the rst time to recognize and permit the
connection each other. Entering the same
pass code (up to 16 Half-width alphanumeric
characters) on each sending/receiving device
is required.
• On the terminal, pass code may be
displayed as "PIN", "passkey".
