Insert the SIM card.
• Place the SIM card into the device with the gold-
coloured contacts facing down.
• If you do not insert a SIM card, you can only make
an SOS (emergency) call, use your device’s
non-network services, and access some menus.
To install the SIM card and battery,

If the device is on, press and hold [ ] and select Ye s
to turn it o.

Remove the back cover.
Be careful not to damage your ngernails when you
remove the back cover.
