Using the Smart Auto mode
The smart auto mode allows taking pictures under an optimized condition since the camera recognizes various
photographing conditions automatically. Therefore, even a beginner can use the camera easily.

Rotate the mode dial to .

Align your subject in the frame.

detects the scene automatically and shows the
corresponding mode icon on the display.

After fixing to a fixture like tripod, proceed with the shot under
the condition that the subject does not move for a while.

When the camera does not detect the shooting UÊ
environment, the camera takes the picture with the
basic settings of the mode

Even after detecting the face, the camera may not UÊ
recognize the portrait mode according to the direction
and brightness of face.
The camera may recognize the same scene differently UÊ
according to the photographing environment such as
light, camera shaking, subject distance.
The camera may not recognize in the UÊ
mode
according to the movement of subject even though a
tripod is used.
The corresponding
mode icon is
displayed according
to the scene detected.
