Cleaning the unit
Ensure the unit is fully unplugged from the mains socket before cleaning.
• To clean the unit, wipe the case with a slightly moist, lint-free cloth.
• Do not use any cleaning uids containing alcohol, ammonia or abrasives.
• Do not spray aerosol at or near the unit.
Language
The language setting changes the language used for the display menus.
• Select the ‘Language’ option from the menu.
• Choose one of the languages available.
The display menu language will change.
This setting will not change the language of broadcast information.
Factory reset
The Factory Reset function will delete all station lists, radio presets and alarm settings. It
may be necessary to reset your radio when you move to another area. This will enable the
radio to erase and re-acquire the new station list.
• Select the ‘Factory Reset’ option from the menu.
• Select ‘Yes’ if you want to continue.
After a short delay, the radio will re-start, set to Standby.
After Factory Reset, the DAB Station List will be erased, stored presets and alarm settings will be deleted.
When the radio is switched on, a scan will take place to re-fresh the Station List.
Software version
• This function will display the software version used in your radio. The information may
be useful to a service engineer.
