Electrical Adjustment
z Fan Voltages adjustment

1. Enter the service mode.
2. Change data values of each test point to adjust the fan
driving voltage.

1. Enter the service mode.
2. To start the auto-calibration for PC adjustment, select
Group "260", No. "0", and then change data value "0"
to "1".
After the auto-calibration completed, "OK" will appear
on the screen.
c Video-Auto Calibration adjustment
Input mode Video mode (Composite)
Input signal 100% color bar signal (NTSC)
1. Enter the service mode.
2. To start the auto-calibration for composite-video adjust-
ment, select Group "260", No. "0", and then change
data value "0" to "1".
After the auto-calibration completed, "OK" will appear
on the screen.
v 480i-Auto Calibration adjustment
Input mode Video mode (Component)
Input signal 100% color bar signal (480i)
1. Enter the service mode.
2. To start the auto-calibration for component-video
adjustment, select Group "260", No. "0", and then
change data value "0" to "1".
After the auto-calibration completed, "OK" will appear
on the screen.
b Common Voltage adjustment
Input mode Computer mode
Input signal 50%-gray pattern computer signal or
16-step gray scale computer signal
1. Enter the service mode.
2. Select Group "101", No. "42" and then change data
value from "0" to "2".
3. Change data value to obtain the minimum flicker for
each color on screen.

103 - 18 for red flicker
103 - 19 for green flicker
103 - 20 for blue flicker
4. Select Group "101", No. "42" and then change data
value from "2" to "0".
n White Balance adjustment
1. Enter the service mode. (Input signal is not required.)
2. Select Group and No. of white balance adjustment
items referring to the table below. For example, when
adjusting the white balance in the PC Standard mode,
select Group - No. "982 - 13 (X value)" or "982 - 14 (Y
value)".

Change the Data value as referring to the color diagram.
4. Select Group "982", No. "72". When the data value
is changed "0" to "10", the adjustment is performed
automatically. This adjustment takes for 10-20 sec-
onds. After completing the adjustment, the data value
returns to "0".
5. Check proper white balance and gray scale are ob-
tained in the selected input mode.
