Scale Operating Menu
The scale operating menu enables you to adapt your scale to various
ambient conditions and weighing applications and to select the unit(s)
of weight commonly used in your country.
We have factory-set the codes for a Standard program, which is pro-
tected by a locking function to prevent accidental changes.
Different menu codes can be selected for each of the weighing
ranges (W1/W2).
A code change mode made in one range will not affect the set-
tings in the order range.
Accessing the Scale Operating Menu:
With the display turned off (
STANDBY
mode), hold down the tare
control, and briefly press the
ON/OFF
key. Release the key as soon
as "
CH5
" is displayed.

" is indicated in the display, you are in the list mode. In this
mode, you can read a menu code
setting, but you cannot change it.

C
" is indicated in the display, you are in the change mode, in
which you can change the menu code settings.
Reading a Menu Code Setting (List Mode):
Press the tare control once the desired numeral in the hundreds, tens
and units place is displayed.
The "
o
" symbol indicates the current menu code setting.
Returning to the Weighing Mode:
Press the tare control once "0" is indicated in the numerical sequence.
