Appendix C: External Camera Feeds
It’s possible to not use the internal camera of the door station for the camera feed shown in the Savant App for the Entry and Camera service for the door
station. This is helpful if there’s another camera that has a better view of the entry.
Once connected to the door station’s admin web-UI follow the steps below:
1. Select Hardware.

2. Select Camera > External Camera.
3. Select the External Camera Enabled check box.

4. Enter the external camera’s URL (rtsp).
5. Enter the Username and Password for the camera.
6. Click Save.
7. Select Common Setting.

8. Change Default Video Source to External Camera.
9. Click Save.
