5. Part Replacements (cntd)
2. Flush Valve Replacement
Note: ensure the water is off and the
boiler is still cooled down from the
water drainage.
1. Remove drain hose clamp and drain
hose from the drip tray
2. Remove screw and knurling nut from
both sides of the drip tray, remove
drip tray from machine.
3A. Remove the center plate
3B. Remove both screws used for mounting
the center plate (2.5mm allen screwdriver)
3C. Remove both screws that hold the right
cover plate (3mm allen screwdriver or
Long Schaerer screwdriver)
Disconnect the manometer tube and remove
the right cover plate from machine.
• Gently swivel the fl ush
valve bracket back, toward
the pump and remove the
brass fi tting(s) (circled with
orange) from the bottom
port of the valve.
• Disconnect the Tefl on
tube from the top and the
electrical wires from the
side.
• Remove the valve and
replace

Reassemble all components in reverse order
(See next page for instructions if the fl ush valve received diff ers than the fl ush valve
inside the machine.)
