17. Troubleshooting
The following table shows fault symptoms and describes remedial measures in the event of your product failing to
work properly. If you cannot localise and rectify the problem with this, please contact your service workshop.

Engine does not start
Fuel tank less than half
full
Fill fuel tank
Fuel valve not open Fuel valve open
Choke not set to “OPEN”
(cold engine)
Set the choke to “OPEN”
Screen filter on the intake
manifold of the carburettor

Clean screen filter
Carburettor jets dirty Clean carburettor jets
Gears cannot be en-
gaged
Clutch incorrectly adjusted Adjust the clutch so that it has a play of 5-6 mm
