ADJUSTMENTS FLOOR APRON CONTROL
WHEN CHECKING OR ADJUSTING FLOOR APRON SPEEDS, HAVE TRACTOR PTO
DRIVELINE DISCONNECTED FROM THE TRACTOR, AND WAGON EMPTY.
STEP 1 – Have PTO driveline laying straight forward over the hitch, disconnected from the
tractor.
STEP 2 – Open lower shield. Pull downward on drive belt as it comes off the jack shaft drive
pulley.
STEP 3 – Pull down on drive belt until ratchet arms are at the extreme rear of the stroke.
Ratchet drive link will be in straight line with arm on ratchet drive sprocket.
STEP 4 – Set floor speed control in 2
nd
notch from the front. This is 1
st
unloading speed, 3-1/2
FPM. The correct distance from the front edge of the speed control cam to the driving pawl
should be 1-5/8”.
STEP 5 – If adjustment is needed, loosen the two adjusting set screws by the front right hand
corner. Move speed control cam forward or back for correct adjustment. Re-tighten set
screws.
