6 Maintenance
6.1 Notes
The piston, clamping pins and taper are calibrated to each other in
the housing.
To replace these parts, send the entire GWK to SCHUNK with a
repair order.
It is useful to have SCHUNK perform maintenance and replace
seals because the piston and clamping pins have to be aligned
when assembled.
6.2 Maintenance intervals
CAUTION
Material damage due to hardening lubricants!
Lubricants harden more quickly at temperatures above 60°C,
leading to possible product damage.
Reduce the lubricant intervals accordingly.

6.3 Lubricants/Lubrication points (basic lubrication)
SCHUNK recommends the lubricants listed.
During maintenance, treat all greased areas with lubricant. Thinly
apply lubricant with a lint-free cloth.
