6.4 Disassembly of the module

WARNING
Risk of injury when the machine/system moves unexpectedly!
Remove the energy supplies.
Make sure that no residual energy remains in the system.
Ø Remove the pressure lines and socket parts (20). Disconnect the
plug connector for the proximity switch.
Ø Unscrew the GWK from the handling unit.
WARNING
Risk of injury due to components being ejected!
The GWK is fitted with a clamping force safety device. A fault can
result in the bottom (2) being under spring tension.
• Disassemble the GWK carefully.
Ø Carefully clamp the GWK between items "a" and "b".
Ø Remove two screws (17) and slowly unclamp the GWK.
NOTE
The piston and clamping pins are calibrated to each other. Mark
the installation position of these parts in the housing.
Ø Remove the bottom (2) from the housing. Items 11 and 13 are
also removed in the process.
