TROUBLESHOOTING
If the player cannot be turned on or does not work normally, please refer to the
following troubleshooting questions. Remember also to check any other connected
device, such as TV or Amplier to pinpoint the problem. If the player still fails to work
normally, please contact technical support.
Problem Solution
No power
Check that the player is connected to the AC power
cord securely.
The player does not respond to
the remote control
Point the remote control directly at the sensor on the
player.
Remove any obstacles between the remote control
and the player.
Install new batteries.
Disc cannot be played
There is no disc in the player.
Check if the disc is loaded properly with label side up.
Check if the disc is compatible with the player. (Page 6)
Cancel the parental lock or change the control level.
Moisture has condensed in the player. Remove the
disc and leave the player turned on for half an hour.
Clean the disc.
Disc Menu does not appear Ensure that the disc has the menus.
No picture
Check that the player is connected correctly and
securely.
The video cord may be damaged. Replace it with a
new one.
Make sure that the TV is turned on.
Correct the video input on the TV.
No sound
Check that the player is connected correctly and
securely.
The audio cord is damaged. Replace it with a new
one.
Make sure that the TV and the amplier are turned
on.
Correct the input settings on the amplier.
Distorted picture
Clean the disc.
Copy protection may be active. Try connecting the
player directly to the TV.
No HDMI output
Check the HDMI connection between the player and
the TV.
Check if the TV supports HDMI input resolution.
Ensure that the disc contains high-denition video.
Abnormal HDMI output screen
If random noise appears on the screen, it means that
the connected TV does not support HDCP (High-
bandwidth Digital Content Protection).
“Prohibited icon” appears on the
screen
This icon appears when an invalid button is pressed.
That operation is prohibited by the player or disc.
