7. Operation
7.1 Start-up
1. Start up by using the main switch.
2. Make sure that the water tap is open.
3. Make sure that the drain is secure.
It is advisable to use water with little content of lime or deionized / demineral-
ized water. DO NOT use distilled water.
7.2 Load
Place the cans with the preserves to be treated in the basket.
The jars must be hermetically sealed.
It is better that all of them are of the same size and content to give the same
treatment to all samples and not overheating the smallest ones or giving an
inefcient treatment to the largest.
Place the productprobe in a container with the same characteristics as the
rest of the containers to be sterilized or pasteurized.
See chapter 4 on how to place the jars and the reference probe.

Cleannig the boiler
To facilitate the washing of the boiler, when
the main switch is pressed On, the boiler
drain is open.
Spray with a hose and with a little dishwas-
hing detergent, the walls of the autoclave.
The water will go down the drain.
Run the cleaning program periodically.
Main switch
«WATEROUTPUT»: This hose mustbermlyattachedtothedrain,
to prevent the force of the water from removing the hose from the drain.
Both hoses should be connected to a lowerlevel of the autoclave exit point
6.4 Connection to the electrical network
Plug into an electrical outlet, ready to supply 20 A continuously.
It is advisable to install an ICP bipolar circuit breaker of about 22A located at
an accessible point quickly and without obstacles.
Consultthetypeandlevelofthesupplyvoltageandthemaximum
intensityvalueontheequipment’sratingplate.
6.5 Protective earthing
The installation of electric power supply for the autoclave MUST have a pro-
tective earth conductor.
The protection against the electrical risks of the autoclave requires that the
network cable, marked with a yellow-green color, to be connected to the
ground conductor of the installation.
ATTENTION
Fix the hose so that it cannot
move due to the pressure at
the end of the cycle.
Do not hold the hose with your
hands. This hose can reach
temperatures above 60ºC.
