Suggestion for counter-pressure for every temperature:
Tª(ºC) Pressure
20 ...100ºC 1 bar
100...115ºC 1.6 bar
116...121ºC 1.7 bar
In case of non-conductive products, it is recommended to:
- The core product probe must be placed in the center of the container.
- Pack the hot product to facilitate the arrival as soon as possible to the
maintenance temperature.
- Keep in mind that it will take longer to reach the maintenance temperature.
- Keep in mind the thermal inertia in the cooling phase, the product could
“burn” because it takes longer to cool down.
In case of conductive products, it is recommended to:
- The core product probe must be placed 3/4 of the base of the container.
- Keep in mind the thermal inertia in the cooling phase, the product
cools quickly and the nal heat treatment may not reach the predetermi-
ned values.
9. Calibration and Parameters of the
Autoclave
This menu allows you to adjust the readings of the probes and modify the
operating parameters of the autoclave.
J.P. SELECTA, s.a.u. recommends not modifying any parameter without prior
consultation to the technical service of J.P. SELECTA, s.a.u.
An incorrect parameter may cause the autoclave to malfunction.
In case of doubt, reintroduce the factory parameters indicated in this section.
Among the modiable parameters, the most common are:
• Correction of the internal temperature probe, and external temperature
probe (For example, because there is a deviation from calibrated datalog-
gers, etc ...).
9.1 Parameters involved in the operation of the can-
ning autoclave
These parameters should only be modied by following instructions from
the technical service.
