Custom option allows the creation of a lethality table according to the
reference microorganism that the client wishes, to obtain the total lethality
value of the programmed heating treatment.
Note: When editing the program, you must select “F
0
Custom” type to use.
The partial lethality values are obtained by applying the formula:
L = 10 ^ ((T-Tx) / z)
The user must enter the Z and Tx values (unique to each microorganism)
and the custom lethality table will be created. The denition of these
parameters is:
Z: Temperature to reduce a reference microbial population by a loga-
rithmic power.
Tx: Reference temperature.

Download logs
All logs are stored in the autoclave’s memory. The logs can be downloaded to
the USB Pendrive. Logs are removed from the autoclave, when downloaded.
See section 10 to present the data in graphic form.
