1. Introduction
1.1 Description
This handbook refers to the SMART3G-D2 and SMART3G-D3 gas detectors. All details repor-
ted in this document are to be fullled along with the instructions given on the SMART3G
user manual.
The SMART3G gas detectors are supplied with a windowed cover and a 4-digit display al-
lowing the real time readout of the concentration being measured. Moreover, the display
allows cheking gas detector calibration and moding the alarm thresholds. 5 LEDs describe
gas detector’ status and 4 smart LEDs color a ring around the display. The display is equipped
with 3 relays, one always associtated to fault conditions and two to alarm thresholds.
