  If your SENTRY II Water Dispenser displays Err - 1001, indicating the control is unable to sense motor movement, here's what you can do: * Motor Engagement/Wiring: Disconnect power, ensure the motor is fully engaged, check for broken wires, and ensure the two-pin connector on the motor is connected to the two-pin connection on the Circuit Board labeled MOTOR. Then, press the NEXT and REGEN buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to resynchronize the software with the piston. * Circuit Board Placement: Ensure the Circuit Board is properly snapped into the drive bracket. Then, press the NEXT and REGEN buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to resynchronize the software with the piston. * Missing Reduction Gears: Replace any missing gears.

  If you're getting hard water from your SENTRY II Water Dispenser, here's what might be happening and how to address it: * The Bypass Valve could be open or faulty. Ensure it's fully closed, and if necessary, replace it. Also, check for multiple bypasses. * High water usage might have exhausted the media. Check program settings or diagnostics for abnormal water usage. * The meter might not be registering. Remove it and check for rotation or any foreign material. * Water quality might be fluctuating. Test the water and adjust program values accordingly. * The brine tank might be low on salt. Add the proper type of salt to the brine tank. * The control valve might be failing to draw in brine.
