When the vial is in position start the
analysis.
WARNING: Scanning a thermally sensi-
tive material may cause burning of the
target. If the sample is contained in a
tightly sealed vessel (f.eg. a capped
vial), pressure may build up during the
scan, causing subsequent explosion of
the vial.
For small volumes, down to 400 µl, the vial rise should be used to position the analyzing
laser beam at the bottom of the vial.
Vial holder insert
The insert serves as a support for the vials
filled with a sample up to 0.4 ml.
