Break and Reversing Light
A perfect control of break and reversing
light is only achievable by the speed
controller itself, not by a separate light-
ing system. For these signals coming
from the speed controller the LA10 has
two dedicated terminal inputs to connect
with the break and reversing LEDs com-
ing from the speed controller. This is
also required for IR transmission to the
trailer. For more detail refer to wiring
diagram.
Installation
The LA10 is usually not heating up while
operating.
In case the module heats up
strongly and in the same time a
malfunction is present please check all
the wiring for short circuits.
The plus terminals of the LA10
are connected to the battery
with a fuse between. The LA10 might
heat up but won’t take any damage. In
case current consumption through one
of them will be higher than 500mA it is
better to connect the common plus of
the lamps directly to the plus terminal of
the drive battery instead.
Safety Notes

Do not connect the battery with
wrong polarity

Avoid any short circuits
·
Protect the module from water and
oil
·
Disconnect the battery immediately
after use - especially for LiPo batter-
ies !
