Power Down Sequence
Once you have completed all of the jobs and are done with the system, please perform the following steps:
1) Shut off the dust collection system.
2) Raise the spindle and remove the Dust Boot.
3) Place Spindle over the project or a small piece of wood.
4) Remove tool, collet and collet nut. Inspect all for dust, debris or damage. Clean as necessary then store them in the
appropriate place.
5) Clean center of spindle and the collet nut with a q-tip and return collet nut to the spindle.
6) Remove your project and put back all mounting brackets and hardware.
7) Move spindle Z near the top of travel.
8) Move the gantry/spindle X & Y to center of machine.
9) At the PC, delete any files that you copied to the GCODE folder.
10) Close the Ready2Control program.
11) Delete any files that you copied to the GCode folder (don’t forget your USB drive).
12) Shutdown Windows.
13) Place the dust cover over the PC.
14) Turn off the keyboard and mouse.
15) Press in the red button on the controller to power it off.
16) Shut off power on the main power strip.
17) Using the shop vac, clean off the surface and area of and around the CNC machine.
18) Return all storage boxes and tools to their proper place inside the cabinet.
19) Place any damaged or dull bits/tools in the Damaged Tools bin.
20) Fill out user log and note any issues with the machine.
21) Place sliding door closure back on and lock it.
22) Return the key to the lock box at the Monitor Station.
