Generating G-Code Using VCarve Pro Makerspace Version 11.0xx or 11.55
Prior to running your CNC project, you need to generate the G-Code that the CNC machine uses to run the job(s) you
want. You can only generate G-Code at the PC located in the Library at the Rolling Acres woodshop.
At PC located in the Back Office, log on with the Makerspace credentials provided to you. Insert the USB Drive
containing your VCarve Pro project file(s) into the computer.
If your project was created using VCarve Pro Makerspace 11.0, on the PC Desktop, find and
double click on the 11.0 VCarve Pro Makerspace icon. Skip to the next page to continue the
process.
If your project was created using VCarve Pro Makerspace 11.55, on the PC Desktop, find and
double click on the 11.55 VCarve Pro Makerspace icon. Continue with the following steps:
1). When the VCarve Pro Makerspace application starts, it will display a Welcome screen.
2). Make sure the Registered Member radio button is selected and then click Next button.
3). The Login or Register screen appears. This screen requires you to verify you are a member of the VWC Makerspace.
You have 2 methods available to do this:
- Request a One-Time Code (this code is sent to your email account on file).
- Login with Browser
We have been having intermittent problems using the Login with Browser method so we recommend you use the
Request a On-Time Code method.
4). At the Login or Register screen, enter the email address you registered with at Vectric then click Send One-Time
Code.
Check your email for a message from noreply@vectric.com (you may need to check your spam folder).
5). The email will contain a 6 digit code. Back at the Login or Register screen, enter the code into the 6 boxes and then
click on the Verify OTP button.
The system will now verify the code
6). A Congratulations page appears, click on the The Villages Woodworkers Cub – Florida 32163 Makerspace name then
click the Finish button.
7). The VCarve Pro application will now start. Note your name should appear in the top right of the page.
