Your fax prints by a process called thermal printing. The print headapplies heat to
special paper which ISchemically treated to changecolour when heatedto a cefialn
level. and this creates the printed text or Image.
Followthe steps below to load the sample roll of fax paper provided.

Unwrap the roll of fax paper and insert it
In the compartment.

I The roll must be placed so
that the leadingedge of the paper
feeds from over the top of the roll.
(The paper is onlycoated on one side
for printing. If the roll is placed upside
down, the paperwill come out blankaf-
ter printing.)

Pass the leadingedge of the paper
through the slit betweenthe metal paper
guide and the protruding ribs, and pull It
out from the other side of the paper com-
