Preparation for Use

 Headphones
 Before plugging in or unplugging the headphones, reduce the volume.
 Be sure your headphones have a 3.5mm (1/8") diameter plug and are between 16
ohms and 50 ohms impedance. The recommended impedance is 32 ohms.
 Plugging in the headphones disconnects the speakers automatically. Adjust the
volume using the VOL buttons.
 You cannot use the surround feature with headphones.
 Do not plug in/out headphones when recording on other equipment. Sound may
skip.
Press the VOLUME + button to increase the
volume and the VOLUME − button for decreasing.
1 Press the MODE button repeatedly to select the
TREB or BASS.
−10 dB to +10 dB
2 Within 3 seconds, press the VOLUME + or
VOLUME − button to adjust the level.
You can adjust the level at 2 dB intervals. −10 dB to +10 dB
The volume is muted temporarily when pressing
the MUTE button on the remote control.
Press again to restore the volume.
When headphones are plugged in, the sys-
tem will enter the stereo mode automatical-
ly.
When headphones are unplugged, the sys-
tem will return to the previous status.
