You can edit or view the displayed entries normally while

Filter
is turned on.
The
Filter
function is available only in the
Schedule, Tel,
and
User File
applications.
Open the application-Schedule, Tel, or User
File-containing the entries you want to work with. Go to
the Index or View mode.
Press
[ml,
touch IVIEWs], and select FILTER
ON/OFF.
A submenu appears.
Select TURN ON FILTER.

In the
Tel
and
User File
applications, a display similar
to the Edit mode opens.
