A WORD ON COPIER INSTALLATION
Improper installation may damage the Copier. Please note
the following during initial installation and whenever the
Copier is moved.
1. Be sure to use the rated power supply and to ground the
Copier.
2. Do not install the Copier in areas that are:
@ damp or humid,
® exposed to direct sunlight,
@ extremely dusty,
® poorly veniilated,
® subject to extreme temperature or humidity changes, e.g.,
near an air conditioner or heater.
3. Place the Copier on a firm, level surface.
4.
Keep
the
rear
of
the
Copier
at
least
10
cm
(4
inches)
from
any
wall
and
33
cm
(13
inches)
from
any
adjacent
right
wall
for
proper
ventilation
and
cooling.
CAUTIONS
1. Do not touch the photoconductive drum. Scratches or
smudges on the drum will cause dirty copies.
2. The fusing area is hot. Exercise care when inspecting this
area.
