20-BIN STAPLE SORTER
Remove any misfed paper from the bin area.
® If the misfed paper is in the bin area and difficult to remove,
press the sorter bin up/down keys to move the bins for
easier removal of the misfeed.
Open and close the front cover to cancel the misfeed
indicator.
If there is misfed paper inside the sorter, slide the
sorter carefully along the guides away from the
Copier, lift up the paper guide and remove any misfed
paper.
If the misfed paper cannot be removed even though
the paper guide is lifted, open the top cover and the
other cover inside. Move the misfed paper to the right
and lift the paper guide up to remove the paper.
® Close the inside cover until it clicks shut.
Close the top cover. Slide the sorter back towards the
Copier and latch it into place.
® Confirm that the misfeed indicator has gone out.
If the misfed paper is in the exit area, slide the sorter
carefully along the guides away from the Copier and
remove any misfed paper.
CAUTION
The fusing area is hot! Use care in removing paper.
Slide the sorter back towards the Copier and latch it
into place.
© Confirm that the misfeed indicator has gone out.
@ |f the misfeed indicator is still blinking, check the inside of the
copier and remove any remaining misfed paper.
