Selecting Summer Time
Perform the procedure below to advance the
clock of the VIEWCAM one hour to summer
time.
1 In Recording Standby mode, display the
menu screen (see page 25).
2 Toggle the CONTROL switch to select
“SUMR TIME”.
3 Press the CONTROL switch to select
“ON”.
The time automatically changes to
summer time.
4 Press the EXIT button (MODE
DISPLAY) to turn off the menu screen.
The indicator appears when the date/
time is displayed.
To reset to standard time
Select “OFF” in step 3 above.

Windbreak
The windbreak function allows you to reduce
annoying noise from strong winds when
recording.
1 In Recording Standby mode, display the
menu screen (see page 25).
2 Toggle the CONTROL switch (Q) to
select “WIND”, then press the
CONTROL switch (W) to select “ON”.
3 Press the EXIT button (MODE
DISPLAY) to turn off the menu screen.
To cancel Windbreak
Press the CONTROL switch to set the WIND
menu item to “OFF” in step 2 above.
Note:
Keep the windbreak function off during normal
recording. If it is left on, the recorded audio may
sound somewhat altered when played back.
