3. CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (HPL)
1) Disassembly - Flow Priority Valve
The only component on the control valve assembly
(HPL) that will be disassembled, is the flow priority
valve. Remove the retaining plug, 1, flow priority valve,
2, and spring, 3.
2) Inspection
Inspect the flow priority valve for debris, uneven wear
or scratches and inspect the spring for damage or
distortion. Remove any dirt or debris and clean or
replace the valve, 1, or spring, 2, as required
.
3) Assembly - Flow Priority Valve
Install the spring, 1, flow priority valve, 2, and retaining
plug, 3, in the reverse order that it was removed above.
Torque the plug to 27 - 40 N･m (2.75 – 4.0 kgf･m).
