8 Commissioning
8.1 Overview of commissioning steps

Connect the voltage supply.
■
Commission the sensor using the factory settings.
■
Configure the sensor.
8.2 Put the sensor into operation for the first time
During initial commissioning, the user should first familiarize himself with the various
measured values described in see "Product description", page 10. Likewise, the sensor
should be configured using the operation described in see "Operation", page 28.
After switching on the supply voltage, the sensor requires approx. 250ms until record‐
ing of the first data block starts. The temperature and shock values are available
immediately after this time.
