Properties
The IM 153-4 PN interface module has the following properties:
• It connects the ET 200M with PROFINET IO.
• A maximum of 12 modules can be operated with the IM 153-4 PN.
• It prepares the data for the connected modules.
The following can be used: SM, CP, non-parameterizable FM
• It supplies the backplane bus.
• Integrated switch with 2 ports
• Takeover of the device name and backup on SIMATIC Micro Memory Card
• Firmware update via SIMATIC Micro Memory Card or PROFINET IO
• The reference potential M of the nominal supply voltage of the IM 153-4 PN to the
mounting rail (protective conductor) is connected via an RC combination and thus an
ungrounded setup is possible.
