If access control is changed to limit remote access, it can
only be reset via the handheld

Enables/disables the read/write access to parameters via remote communications.

Read only No changes are permitted via remote com-
munications.

Restricted Sets the status to Read only, with the poten-
tial for another HART device to change this
parameter only, via remote communications.

This lock affects only the handheld programmer. A remote master can change configuration

is set to allow this.
