! Voltage transformer type 4MU1: If not yet pre-assembled, mount the fixing brackets
on the voltage transformer.
! To let excess air out of the plug connection while mounting the voltage transformers,
fit a nylon thread or a cable strap into the inside cone of the voltage transformer.
Preparing installation for
4MT6
! Isolate and earth the busbar.
! Verify safe isolation from supply.
! Apply a uniform film of mounting paste to the inside-cone plug of the voltage
transformer.
! Remove the surge-proof stopper size 2 from the bushing at the panel.
! Apply a uniform film of mounting paste to the silicone bushing of the voltage
transformer.
! Insert the silicone bushing in the inside-cone bushing of the panel.
Mounting the voltage trans-
former
! Place the voltage transformer on the bushing together with the associated fixing
material.
! Lower the voltage transformer slowly onto the bushing, pulling the cable strap out of
the inside cone of the voltage transformer at the same time.
! Connect the low-voltage plug connectors at the voltage transformers.
! Bolt the voltage transformers together with the panel using the associated fixing
material.
! Voltage transformer type 4MT3: Mount the voltage transformer cover.
