Select a transducer during patient
registration
 Select a transducer from the Transducer list on the patient registration form.
If a transducer is not selected, the system activates the default transducer for
the selected study type if it is connected to the system.
Note: If you choose an unsupported study type for the selected transducer
during patient registration, the system activates the default study type during
imaging.
Select a workflow protocol during
patient registration
 Select a protocol from the Protocol list on the patient registration form.
The system activates the first view of the protocol when you begin the
examination.
Start a study using the entered
registration data
 Click Start Study.
Start a new study for the current
patient
 Click New Study.
The system closes the current study and begins a new study.
Update the displayed list of
studies
 Click Refresh List.
Add images, clips, and volumes
to a closed study
1. Click Append Study.
2. Acquire new images, clips, and volumes to append to the current study.
Cancel patient registration  Click Cancel.
