D - 18 Instructions for Use
C Background (Available only when CDE is activated)
Adds or removes a background enhancement of solid color. The solid background color
changes, depending on the power map selected.

Note: For systems without a touch screen, the selection is assigned to the Background soft
key.
DTA/DTV/DTE (Available only when DTI is activated)
Selects a presentation method for color:
DTV — Presents the mean velocities of tissue in the sample area.
DTE — Presents the Doppler signal energies returning from the tissue.
DTA — Presents the rate of change of velocities (acceleration) in the sample area.
Note: For systems without a touch screen, this selection is assigned to IMAGE.
Invert (Affects only the active priority mode)
Vertically flips the Doppler spectrum on the baseline (negative values display above the
baseline) and inverts the Doppler audio.
Vertically flips the colors depicting forward and reverse flow in the color ROI and in the color
bar.
Note: For systems without a touch screen, this selection is assigned to INVERT.
Steering Angle (Available only for linear transducers)
Change the steering angle within the transducer's array.
