10 - 4 Instructions for Use
Virtual Touch Imaging
Use Virtual Touch imaging to qualitatively visualize tissue stiffness for a selected region of
interest.
Virtual Touch imaging supports the following transducers and exam types:
4C1 (abdominal exam)
4V1 (abdominal exam)
9L4 (breast or thyroid exam)
6C1 HD (abdominal exam)
To activate Virtual Touch imaging:
1. During 2D-mode or 2D-mode with THI active, select the control assigned to activating the
feature:
Press E and then select Virtual Touch Imaging, if necessary.
For systems without a touch screen, select Virtual Touch Imaging.

The system activates a dual display format with a region of interest (ROI) box on the left
image. The right image is blank.
2. To display the full field of view:
Select Full.
For systems without a touch screen, double-click UPDATE.
