4.1 General
Polyurethane mats are ignited during this type of acceptance test fire. The result is
considerable heat development with visible, dark smoke.
4.2 Infrastructure
z Heat source: Lighting with a match
z Combustible material: Polyurethane soft foam without flame-resistant
additives, density 20kg/m

, foamed on the basis of
ether polyoles, mat size 500x500x20mm.
z Auxiliaries: Flame retardant underlying board, minimum size
700x700x100mm (e.g. board on wooden pallet) and
aluminum foil
z Safety: Extinguisher
