Managing directory entries
s ¢ s (Select entry).
Editing entries
§Menu§ ¢Edit Entry
~ Edit the number if required, and press §OK§.
~ Edit the name if required, and press §OK§.
Using other functions
§Menu§ Press the display key.
The following functions can be selected with q:
Use Number
Edit or add to a saved number and then dial with c or save as a new entry; to
do so, press
§Menu§ ¢ Copy to Directory ¢ §OK§after the number appears on the
display.
Delete Entry
Delete selected entry.
Send Entry
Send a single entry to a handset (
£ Page 69).
Delete List
Delete all directory entries.
Send List
Send complete list to a handset (
£ Page 69).
Shortcut
Assign the phone number of the current entry to a number key as a shortcut
(shortcut key).
Using shortcut keys
You can assign phone numbers from the local directory to number keys on your
handset (
£ Shortcut, Page 68). Number keys to which phone numbers are
assigned are known as shortcut keys.
¤ Press and hold the required shortcut key.
If there is a valid line suffix at the end of the number in the directory (e.g.: #1), the
number will be dialled via the line belonging to the suffix (
£ Page 122).
If no suffix is entered, the number will be dialled via the default line. Exception: A
dialling plan has been defined for the number (
£ Page 140).
