Setting phone with Web configurator
You can make the following settings using the Web configurator:
u Connect your phone to the local network (£ Page 118).
u Configuration for telephony:
– Enter settings for the VoIP provider and configure or activate/deactivate VoIP
accounts (
£ Page 123).
– Specify the name of the fixed line network (
£ Page 130).
– Activate/deactivate the Gigaset.net connection (
£ Page 131).
– Activate/deactivate call forwarding for calls to your VoIP numbers or to your
Gigaset.net number (
£ Page 138).
– Configure settings to improve voice quality for the VoIP connections
(
£ Page 132).
– Define the standard connection for your telephone (fixed line network or
VoIP) (£ Page 136).
– Assign VoIP phone numbers to the individual handsets (

– Define user-specific dialling plans for emergency numbers and for cost con-

– Enter and activate/deactivate the network mailbox for each number
assigned to the telephone (

– Define the type of DTMF signalling (e.g. for remote operation of a VoIP net-
work mailbox) and the recall key function for VoIP (
