Administration
This chapter and the following chapter "Service Docu-
mentation" describe more detailed settings and the ad-
ministration of the optiPoint 600 office. These opera-
tions require good knowledge of network technology as
well as of network protocols, and they are normally car-
ried out by network administrators.
The optiPoint 600 office can be considered as a normal
data terminal within an individual LAN and be managed
as such.
Administration Menu
All settings and administrative tasks are processed via
the menu "Administration". This menu is protected
against illegal accesses by the Administrator password.
Access to the Administration Menu
Click Menu key.
Select "Service".
Select "Administration".
Enter the "Administration password"
(Factory setting: 123456). Text input see page 41.
Click softkey to confirm entry.
Within the Administration menu you will find a number
of menus concerning the settings of different function
groups.
