Audio settings
This screen allows to set the audio quality of the
optiPoint 600 office.
Enter the Administration menu. Access page 17.
Select "Configuration".
Select "Audio settings".
Select an entry for the Audio setting.
The available options are:
G.711 always
G.711 preferred
G.723 preferred
Best speech quality is accomplished if G.711 is select-
ed. However, the bandwidth requirement is 80 kb/s in
each direction. If G.723 is selected the speech is com-
pressed which might lead to a lower speech quality.
However, the bandwidth requirement is reduced to
22.4 kb/s in each direction.
