Entering Characters
You can enter text, digits and symbols in local applica-
tions in any of the following ways:
• via the keypad on the display
– a keypad appears on
the display (see below),
• by repeatedly pressing keys on the keypad
 page 43 or
• by using an external USB keyboard – connected via
the USB interface  page 44.
Touchscreen Keypad
Show the touchscreen keypad.
Usefull hints for entering characters in the "tele-
phone" pad can be found in the User Manual.
