Dialing a number from the internal directory
The internal directory contains all station numbers and
system speed-dial numbers assigned to a name. Con-
tact your service personnel to find out if one was con-
figured for your system.
Prerequisite: Names have been assigned to the station
numbers stored in the system.
^ Lift the handset.
or
n Press the key shown. The LED lights up.
or
c Open the idle menu Æ page 23.
Confirm.
if nec. If several directories have been configured (not for
HiPath 500):
Confirm.
The first entry is displayed on the screen.
+ or - Press the relevant key to select the next/previous entry
or
select and confirm the option shown to see the next
eight entries in the list
or
select and confirm the option shown to see the previ-
ous eight entries in the list.
or
j Enter the name you want to find, or just the first few let-
ters, using the alphanumeric keypad Æ page 20.
The entry you wish to dial appears on the screen
