Function
Channel diagnostics provides information about channel errors in modules and details of the
identifier-related diagnostics. Channel diagnostics begins after the module status. Channel
diagnostics does not affect the module status.
The figure below shows how the channel diagnostics for the ET 200AL distributed I/O system
is structured with the IM 157-1 DP interface module.
