4.2 Connecting the function earth

Requirement
• T20 screwdriver
• Cable lug for M4
• Function earth with minimum cross-section of 2.5 mm
2
copper cable
Procedure
Clamp the cable lug on the function earth.
Firmly attach the cable lug to the function earth connection
on the device using the M4 thread with the torque of 1 Nm
(see part labeled).
Connect the function earth to the protective conductor con-
nection of the cabinet or the plant in which the device is in-
stalled.
