5.4.1 Function of the mode switch
Function of the mode switch
The mode switch can be used to set the CPU to RUN mode or STOP mode, or to reset the
CPU memory. STEP 7 offers further options of changing the mode.
Positions
The mode switch is designed as toggle switch. The following figure shows all possible
positions of the mode switch.
