TRU-Install
TRU-Install is a Sierra Wireless feature that installs the necessary drivers the first time you connect the
device to your Windows or Mac computer through the USB to Micro B cable. (For details, see
“Making
a Tethered Connection” on page 27.) An installation CD is not required.
By default, TRU-Install is enabled.
To change the setting:
1. Ensure you’re logged in to the home page.
2. Click Advanced settings > Device > Basic.
3. Select a value for TRU-Install.
Requirements for a USB Tethered Connection
Your device supports a direct connection through a USB cable to a Windows or Mac computer. (This
is commonly referred to as a “tethered” connection.)
