Function Description:
The Wildlife Camera operates in three main modes: OFF, SETUP, and ON (live mode).
- OFF Mode: Completely powers off the camera. It is recommended to switch the camera off when not in use to preserve battery power and to remove Alkaline batteries if storing for a long period.
- SETUP Mode: Allows access to all menu options and settings for the camera. In this mode, users can view saved photos and videos, align the camera for optimal PIR sensor detection, and manually take photos or videos. The viewing screen is only active in SETUP mode.
- ON (Live) Mode: Activates the automatic sensing mode. The camera will automatically take photos and/or record videos when moving objects enter the PIR sensor's detection range, based on the selected settings. During the day, photos and videos are in colour, and at night, the IR LEDs illuminate for black and white recordings.
The camera offers various recording modes: 'Photo', 'Video', and 'Photo + Video'. In 'Photo + Video' mode, the camera takes a set number of photos before recording a video, determined by the 'Picture No.' setting. Users can adjust image resolution (from 2M to 20M) and video resolution (from 360P to 1296P). The camera also supports loop recording, which, when enabled, allows the camera to continue taking photos/videos even if the micro SD card is full, by overwriting the oldest files.

- Viewing Screen Indicators: The LCD colour screen displays important information such as photo/video mode, micro SD card status, image/video resolution, remaining shots/time, built-in battery charge percentage, AA Alkaline battery status, date, time, and solar panel charging indicator.
